Erin and Albert…

Okay, we are going to revamp the whole site to be more than just the wedding but for now you can find our wedding and honeymoon pictures along with all of our other photos in “Our Photos,”  or you can click on the appropriate picture to gt there.

Our photographer Tara’s pictures can be found on our website, but if you met Yischon, you know he is also an accomplished photographer; his pictures can be found here. Finally, all of those cameras on the tables will be returned today (11/19) so we’ll post those soon.

One note, if you have a wedding story you think we’d like to hear, please post them to the comments section of this entry, we have been hearing the funniest things from our wedding that we didn’t even know happened.

Okay, some updates:

Everyone is invited to the Rehearsal Dinner and the dress is casual– though we might be in slightly more than casual attire 🙂 . I am thinking button down and sport coat, no tie, I’ll lose the sport coat when eating though, since it is Mongolian barbecue.

Weather forecast as of 10/26 is Friday 54/41, Mostly Sunny, 10% chance of precipitation. Saturday 53/47, Mostly Cloudy, 0% chance of precipitation. HOWEVER, Sunday is supposed to be 60/51, Showers/Wind, 60% chance of precipitation which means a storm is in the area and might go faster or slower. We’ll update as we get closer.

There is an optional brunch the next day. It is a come as you are, everyone pays for themselves affair, completely informal. I know many people who are going to visit friends and won’t make it.

We are looking for scans or digital pictures of our us with our friends, pictures of us as children, or pictures before we started going out. While we are not doing a slideshow per se, we did want to have pictures in the reception. . Anything you have, please email to achen@abcte.org. If you don’t have a scanner or are very busy, don’t worry, we understand.

The wedding party will meet at  the Harvard Memorial church for a walk-through at 3pm.

 Please note that the rehearsal dinner is casual – its Mongolian BBQ!

Marriot Residence Inn Cambridge

We have reserved a block of rooms – if you would like one, call Albert ASAP at 202-538-5842. Quite a few people are staying here, and Albert and I may stay here the night before the wedding. The rates are different than we originally quoted, mostly because they cannot do group rates for 2-bedroom suites. The new rates are $329/night for a 2-bed suite, which is great for a family or if 2 friends want to share – then it is only $165/night per group, and each gets their own bedroom and bathroom. A normal hotel room has a bedroom and bathroom and opens up into hallway. This is the same room, only instead of opening up to a hallway like a normal room, it opens up to a common area you share. One room with 2 queen beds is $260/night.

Update from Albert: I distinctly remember not being able to afford things on people’s registries when I was younger. They would put crazy things up and I would be stuck thinking, geez, I can buy a couple of spoons. For our registry, if you are planning on buying a gift, but can’t afford the item you want to get, you can simply buy a gift card with a portion of the gift on it. Healthrereforbo . Marriott Quincy People trying to book the Mariott Quincy, we had some trouble with the contract. It should be active as of Friday, October 5th.

Embarrassing pictures have been going up one a day.

For those in the wedding party that need tuxedos, we are going with Classic Tuxedos on Bow St. (where Bernard got his tuxes I think. Don’t use the online form, instead take your measurements using this guide and either send it to me or fax it to the number below re:Albert Chen wedding (if you fax it, please email it to me too). I have to pick a style still, but I am thinking of a single breast stroller with notched lapels and a champagne or grey vest and tie (I know, those of you who know me are shocked I am not going for basic black).
