We’ll add a few more collages for each day but here is a summary of our vacation in San Diego. The collage is organized in sets of two: Day 1, Arrival: the Food Network has become an integral part of the kids’ vacation experience this time Food Truck Race; that is paired with Kula. Day 2 Legoland paired with sublime black garlic oil tonkatsu ramen at Ramen Factory. Day 3 La Jolla Cove paired with family dinner with Albert’s parents at Claim Jumper (not our best meal), Staying over in Cypress with Bernard and his family (thank you). Day 4 Seal Beach with Bernard’s family paired with Magic Touch Bullet Train Sushi (not kidding) and Curry House (not pictured). Day 5 Coronado paired with Mitsuwa (a sad one in San Diego) and Shanghai Saloon (no Din Tai Fung). AND our Extra Day after our plane was canceled and we had to go on a red eye – totally blame the Eclipse, the San Diego Zoo paired with a return to Kula. More later.
