Albert

[ ] Albert is the kind of guy you want on your team. It doesn’t matter what kind of team. Soccer, bowling, math team, underwater singing. You want him on your team.

“There are evil people in the world, I’ve realized. Because if I exist, then other people must.”
“Confessions of a Closeted Master Criminal”
chapter title: “my subconscious is smarter than I am”
“so I married a closeted criminal mastermind”
“high functioning sociopath”
“i have a very strong moral compass because I created it myself”
“I have high EI. I just choose not to use it./ choose to ignore it.”
“Everything in moderation. Including morality.”
Albert has a ring he wears to remind him to be moral. He takes it off on the weekends.
“i have annoying down to a science”
More insightful:
“Lace is full of holes. If you just focus on the holes, you’ll miss the lace.”
Lawn analogy: your first love fills up your whole being, your whole patch of grass. But then as you get older, your patch of grass gets bigger. And you love others, and it takes up your whole being … And then your patch becomes a lawn, and then a field. And that little patch is still there, and sometimes you stand on it, and you think, this feels nice.
“you will have to cut my legs off to carry me out of the house.”
Albert is larger than life.
He does things other people only think about. Like buying the kid the balloon after his got loose.
