Though this world is all about suffering,
We are born so that we can learn to love.
To love is to suffer (and it’s worth it)…
We sadly expend youth learning to love.
And as suffering wears upon the soul,
Slowly bodies begin to wear away,
We may be loved and have learned to love,
But even our minds begin to decay.
In dreams we are drawn back into the light,
One day we embrace our love… and escape.
