December 16, 2022 We left on the Friday and didn;t get iun until dinner. Erin had a craving for ribs so we went to Claim Jumpers.
December 17, 2022 We went to Univesal Studios Hollywood with Bernard and Agnes (the twins stayed home) we had a great time and even rode the Jurassic Park ride. The backlot was the best part besides being with family. After the day we had a great time with the cousins dancing, playing, arm wrestling and more.
December 18, 2022 We got to see Mama and Papa, now the family picture is a composite of Suephy;s Christmas card, Bernard’s Christma card, our picture at Universal and a picture of Mama and Papa, but that is who we are in 2022. We celebrated Elia’s birthday with Bernard’s family and the next day we were off to Hawaii.
December 19, 2022 Elia’s actual birthday, We were supposed to arrive at lunch but ended up arriving at 4:00 PM because the first plane we were on had a malfunction and we had to switch planes. We decided to go to the beach after getting upgraded for an ocean view of our hotel room. We later ate at a great little hole in the wall that took an hour to wait. We stayed at the Princess Kaluani Sheraton the same hotel Alberr stayed as a child, then when Erin and Albert were dating and again now.
December 20, 2022 Albert’s actual birthday and we spent it at the Polynesian Cultural Center. We would have loved to have more time but we had a great time nonetheless. Also Albert’s third time and they stil have the same guy climging the coconut tree and the college kid making fire. The luau was impressive for the kids and the show Ha was amazing.
December 21, 2022 Swimming in the breakwater pool at the ocean, Watch buying and eating at Gomen Tai
December 22, 2022 Snorkling at Hanauma Bay. Incredible. Oh the Pixel errased the trees for us on the bottom picture so you can still see their shadows but not the trees,
December 23, 2022 Some of the fish we saw that day. We wish we had more time.
December 23, 2022 North Beach and Matsumotos, we actually went twice. We also went to the macadamian nut farm but did not go to the Dole plantation.
December 23, 2022 On our last day we went souvenir shoppping, Costco for macadamian nuts, and had to keep ourselves busy before the red-eye home. And that is when we discovered Don Quixote, an amazing supermarket that had a Gundam gunpla store in it. We got yet another cake and pretended to blow out the candles. Then it was time to go home.
