Dinosaurs!

July 19, 2020, By Curie, Elia, and Albert

3 Dinosaurs, dinosaurs, the ones who eat meat
Tyrannosaurus Rex simply couldn’t brush his teeth
His arms are too short and flops when he runs
If we were eating cake, he’d only get the crumbs

21 [Bass] Dinosaurs, dinosaurs the one with three horns
They are too big to hide from oncoming storms
Triceratops are herbivores who eat grass and not flies.
When they go to kiss, they poke each other in the eyes

39 [Drums] Dinosaurs dinosaurs the ones that flew
They did without tray tables, seat belts, or a crew
Pterodactyls did soar and fly through the air
If your carry-on didn’t fit, they really didn’t care

57 [Hard Rock] Dinosaurs dinosaurs with only one finger
If it was the one in the middle, he’d be a free thinker
Monodactylus ate insects, and not eggs
He ate their wings and feet and even their heads,

75 [Hard Rock] Dinosaurs dinosaurs the one whose tail whips
He had a shell of armor, but didn’t have lips
Ankylosaurus would fight with a spiked ball on his tail
If he brought it to school, it would surely go to jail

93 [No Hard Rock] Dinosaurs dinosaurs with plates on its back
The spikes on its tail are for its attacks
If it lived today it would bonk on houses
Disturbing the neighborhood and all of the spouses

111 [No Bass] Dinosaurs dinosaurs the one with a sail
It lived on land so it didn’t eat whales
My daughter says that’s not really exciting
Spinosaurus controlled temperature with its back
so it was heat it was fighting

129 Dinosaurs dinosaurs some actually had feathers
It flew in the air except in bad weather
Microraptors couldn’t say any words
But with its fossils, we know dinosaurs evolved into birds.

Dinosaurs! Written July 19, 2020, First line from Curie and her idea, The rest of the song was with Elia and her rhymes. Recorded July 21, 2020 at 2:00 AM because Elia asked why I didn’t record it yet – I told her I was tired and fell asleep.
