A Giant Tub of Caramel

From the mind of Elia Chen, July 21, 2020, written with Albert

I sat in a giant tub of caramel,
Everything around me is edible
You may think this quite a fairy tale
But the discomfort I feel has no parallel

You see,

There is no good technology
To get caramel off the human body
I stick my foot in a puddle
Of a giant melted ice cream bubble

I stuck my hand in a cocktail
And found a slimy black snail
I stuck my face in a tub of bubble gum
Which is not something I can easily overcome

Because it is as sticky as the caramel
Which is quickly becoming not edible
