Freedom may be slightly over-rated,
At least when it comes to making choices.
And too much freedom is paralyzing,
Evaluating so much annoys us.
And You can have too much to consider,
You can be overwhelmed by the voices.
All the options, so you don’t even choose,
Not acting at all is what destroys us.
To be able to cast away worry,
They say it’s like cocaine, oh the choicest.
Invincible, free from obligation,
To feel amazing, practically joyous.
It’s insane, the anxiety and pain,
Trying so hard to remain so focused.
